PUEBLO — The Pueblo animal shelter wants to keep everyone more informed when it comes to animal attacks.

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, which runs the shelter, introduced the Bite Blotter.

It tracks bites that take place in Pueblo County as well as El paso County.

"In addition to a resource to the residents to see what is going on in their neighborhoods, it is a way for our organization to be transparent and really let the community know what we are seeing in the community," said Animal Law Enforcement officer Lindsey Vigna.

The information is available on the HSPPR website.
