PUEBLO — A local group wants a mobile station that helps the homeless stay clean.

Pueblo Cooperative Care is in the planning stages of getting a mobile shower and laundry station started.

The group has started raising money and needs a little over $200,000 to make it happen.

"We want to try to re-instill some dignity into people who need help the most. There is no question in our minds of the need for a hygiene program in our community," Corry Higbee, Pueblo Cooperative Care member, said.

The group hopes to get this station up and running by October.
