COLORADO SPRINGS — Some Front Range audiology clinics are offering curbside or drop-off services as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

Hearing centers are not seeing patients, but still consider their work important for those who need services or repairs to hearing devices.

If I'm meeting a patient at curbside I wipe it off with alcohol. Obviously, I'm wearing gloves, or if the patient drops it off, there are alcohol wipes in there, so that we're not cross contaminating," said Dr, Kacy Hooten from Hearing HealthCare Center in Colorado Springs.

Dr. Hooten says those with hearing loss feel even more isolated during this time, so it's important for loved ones to try to reach out and make sure they're okay.
