COLORADO SPRINGS — The "Re-Store" on South Wasatch in Colorado Springs wants to help keep unwanted materials out of landfills.
Through Habitat for Humanity, they're looking for a record amount of donations. It's called the 2020 Earth Day Challenge.
Starting Monday, we are hoping, as long as no Governor's orders change, that we'll be open and everything that we have available in the store will be for sale. Currently, not everything is for sale," manager Allison Dertz said.
So far, the sale of donated items has helped Habitat for Humanity put 175 families in homes locally.
