PUEBLO — A group of volunteers in Pueblo warmed some hearts on a cold afternoon just before Valentine's Day.

The group delivered Valentine's Day gifts to people in hospices and long-term living facilities on Friday.

The gifts were made by members of the American legion Post Two.

"It's a really nice thing to do since we all just can't go out and buy stuff, especially in this weather. Everyone needs love too and it's a really nice thing to do to show that people care about you," volunteer Eliana Trujillo-Gonzalez said.

The American Legion plans to do this again around Easter.
