GREEN MOUNTAIN FALLS — The lake in Green Mountain Falls is back to normal after it dried up last month due to a faulty valve.
The town relies on the lake as a backdrop and location for tourism and weddings. Repairs have been made the town's mayor says they were lucky to be empty only three days.
"We're still gonna pursue further funding and really get the fifty year fix in, but for now, we're up and we're running. We have a world renowned art display over the lake. We're ready to go," said Mayor, Jane Newberry.
The mayor also said they are looking into ways to improve the natural appearance of the lake.
