COLORADO SPRINGS — A grass fire ignited Saturday afternoon near I-25 in Colorado Springs.
The fire was near Interquest Pkwy on the west side of the highway.
Colorado Springs Fire crews responded, as did USAFA fire.
According to CDOT, southbound I-25 was closed between Interquest Pkwy and Northgate Blvd. The left lane of northbound I-25 was closed at mile marker 154.
The highway reopened between two and three hours after the fire was initially reported.
