EL PASO COUNTY — A grass fire broke out Sunday afternoon northeast of the Colorado Springs Airport in eastern El Paso County.
Fire crews from CSFD, Ellicott and Falcon Fire responded to the blaze off Curtis Road and Highway 94.
Fortunately the fire was contained to about 40 acres and no homes or businesses were impacted.
The cause of this fire remains under investigation.
