Gradisar delivers State of Pueblo address

PUEBLO — Pueblo Mayor Nick Gradisar focusing on the partnership with Black Hills Energy as one key topic in his annual "state of the city" address, although discussions are in the works where the city, at some point could actually create it's own utility and it's been a controversial topic to say the least.

Mayor Gradisar told the crowd "this will be the biggest financial decision in the history of the city of Pueblo and nothing has consumed more of my time as mayor than this issue."

Also during his speech, the Mayor highlighting the city's low crime rate, more businesses being interested in making Pueblo their home and the first woman to be selected as Fire Chief.

As for priorities moving forward, he said that improving roads is key, and the constant focus on the growing marijuana industry and all the implications for the city.
