COLORADO SPRINGS — Heavy equipment near the Garden of the Gods has many of you asking questions.
The Camp Creek Drainage Improvement project is well underway and City Stormwater tells us it is on schedule and going as planned.
Most of the heavy lifting of building the expanded holding pond is done. When it's complete, the expanded area will protect about two hundred properties to the south from flooding.
We're also told the area will be restored with natural vegetation.
