FOUNTAIN — The Fountain Police Department is looking for a man considered to be armed and dangerous.
According to Fountain PD, officers attempted a traffic stop on a pickup that had fictitious plates Sunday morning. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Colorado Springs and after a short chase, the driver ran on foot.
Fountain PD said the driver has been identified as Jason Aplin. He has warrants for multiple felonies, including assault on a peace officer.
Aplin is to be considered armed and dangerous, according to Fountain PD. If you see him, do not approach but call 911 immediately.
