PUEBLO — Pueblo Community College is partnering with the Ford Automotive Career Exploration program to help students move one step closer towards a career in the automotive industry.
The partnership was announced on Thursday at Spradley Ford in Pueblo.
PCC’s automotive service technology program is one of 50 nationwide to be a part of the Ford Ace Program. The program raises awareness and helps to increase interest in career opportunities within the automotive industry.
The web-based program will allow students to receive training that dealer technicians receive. The partnership also helps address a nationwide shortage of qualified automotive technicians.
"It also helps the industry to provide a good well rounded quality technician to be able to be ready for they are going experience in the industry," said James Cordova from Pueblo Community College.
PCC will be working with Spradley Ford for this partnership.
