FLORENCE — A small but special 4th of July event was held Saturday morning in Florence.
The town held its annual Wet and Dry Parade.
Folks bring water guns, balloons, and buckets to the event for a wet and wild morning.
Crowd sizes were humble but some folks were just happy there was any public celebration at all since most local events were canceled due to the pandemic.
"It's a small-town parade. It is what it is, I mean they do the best they can with what they got. Anything with a light or siren seemed to come through, so good for them," one attendee said.
There were no fireworks with the parade this year but the town is holding a family-friendly movie night Saturday.
