EAGLE COUNTY — Roaring Fork Fire Rescue crews are assessing the damage after flooding sent people to higher ground in the area of the Lake Christine Fire burn scar.
According to the Aspen Times, an inch and a half of rain fell in the area and the Fire Chief said it was the most significant flooding since the fire broke out in July of last year.
No loss of property has been reported but there are reports of lots of mud built up around homes.
Luckily, there have been no reports of injuries.
