COLORADO SPRINGS — First Friday is making a big come back in downtown Colorado Springs after going mostly virtual during the pandemic.

On a typical First Friday, the event features new art and live music at various galleries and other businesses, giving people another reason to head downtown.

During the pandemic many of these activities moved to virtual platforms, but tonight will be the first time these galleries and creative businesses will be participating and opening their doors for visitors. There will be limited capacities in these businesses as well as mask requirements.

There will be all kinds of fun things happening downtown tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., including live jazz, sculpting, and activities you can take part in. For a full list of participating businesses, click here.

We'll be there live to help celebrate the big return so be sure to tune in to News5 at 5 and 6 p.m. if you can't make it in person.
