PARK COUNTY — An 81-year-old man has died from his injuries in a motorcycle crash on Thursday.
According to Colorado State Patrol, troopers responded to the crash just after 2 p.m. on Park County 77, 5 miles north of Highway 24.
Troopers said Lewis Cannedy of Kansas City, Kansas, was southbound on a Yamaha V-Star when he lost control in a left hand curve. He then drove off the right side of the road causing the Yamaha to roll ¼ time ejecting Cannedy.
He was transported to a hospital in Colorado Springs, where he died from his injuries.
Cannedy was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation, and speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
