MANITOU SPRINGS — Roads that were previously closed due to a water main break in Manitou Springs are back open in the Midland Avenue and Ruxton Trail.
Crews are still actively removing debris from the affected areas. Crews have located where the water main break happened and are currently repairing it. Water will continue to be shut-off in the Ruxton and Midland area until the water main is fully repaired.
The water main break released high volumes of water, and large amounts of debris, onto Ruxton Avenue, the Ruxton Roundabout, Manitou Place, and various other surrounding roads.
Ruxton Ave was closed to traffic from the Roundabout to Capitol Hill. Also, Osage was closed from Manitou Place to Ruxton.
