El Paso County Sheriff's Office: Missing 11-year-old found safe

EL PASO COUNTY — UPDATE: The El Paso County Sheriff's Office reported at 1:30 p.m. That Christopher has been found safe.


The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing 11-year-old.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Christopher Pena went looking for missing cows with his younger brother on his family's property Friday evening. By 6:00 PM, his younger brother had returned, but Christopher had not.

The Sheriff's Office and El Paso County Search and Rescue have been searching throughout the night and into this morning in an attempt to locate Christopher, but have thus far been unsuccessful.

The family's property is located int eh 24,600 block of Myers Road.

Christopher was last seen wearing an Adidas sweatshirt, black jeans, and blue Adidas shoes.
