Downtown Colorado Springs receives additional $250k for Small Business Relief

COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Downtown Development Authority received $250,000 from Pinnacol Assurance for the Small Business Relief Fund (CSDDA Relief Fund) on Thursday, per a release.

The fund will be used provide grants to eligible storefront businesses in Downtown Colorado Springs.

"We are thrilled and deeply gratified to receive these funds from Pinnacol Assurance, and know they will make such a meaningful difference to our beloved Downtown retailers, restaurants, and other storefront businesses," said Susan Edmondson, President & CEO of Downtown Partnership, which provides the programmatic and administrative services of the DDA.

The grant application deadline closed on April 22, and the more than 120 applications are currently under review
