PUEBLO — Knitters and crocheters are working to help solve a need in Pueblo.
Pueblo Cooperative Care says warm clothes are a big need, especially this time of year.
That's why members of the Pueblo Newcomers Club made more than 100 pieces of warm clothing, including gloves, scarves, and other items.
"Cooperative Care seemed to be the best choice. That's why we chose Cooperative Care to give them to, because we just wanted to get it to people who really need it," said Mary Carter from Pueblo Newcomers Club.
Earlier this week Pueblo Crocheter Rose Valdez, 95, made close to 40 caps for Cooperative Care to give to people in need.
