Driving conditions in the I-25 gap between Castle Rock and Monument are still icy, slow, and dangerous if you're driving too fast.

Denver saw 8 to 10 inches overnight, and Monument saw around 3 to 4 inches.
Driving conditions in the gap between Castle Rock and Monument are very slick, but road crews have been delayed clearing the southbound lanes.
Southern Colorado saw some of the heaviest snow last night in the El Paso county area before midnight.
Snow is still falling through the region with the current heaviest bands located down near Walsenburg and La Veta.
Snow totals will continue to be updated in this story through the morning.

Colorado Springs received a wide range of 4 to 8 inches across town and Pueblo had 2 to 3 inches across town.
Travel Expectations:
CDOT has been out plowing roads all night, but there is still lots of work to be done.
I-25 is covered in a thin layer of snow throughout all of Colorado Springs, and there's plenty of snow on the roads up to Denver.
Denver got hit with incredibly heavy snow, and we have 8 inches reported up near our sister station KMGH in Denver.
