PUEBLO — Pueblo District 70 is starting its summer lunch program on June 1.
Students under the age of 19 will receive two free lunches and two breakfasts with each meal bag.
Meals will be provided on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Pueblo County High School, Liberty Point Middle School, and Avondale Elementary School.
"We really appreciate all the hard work that our cafeteria workers have put in since March, making sure that these kids get fed every other day," Todd Seip said.
Parents or guardians can buy a lunch for $6. Adults over 60 can get a free meal if they are picking up food for grandchildren.
