COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs District 11 is delaying in-person return for traditional high schools by one week due to a reassessment of the D11 school ventilation situation.
In-person learning at Coronado High School, Doherty High School, Mitchell High School, and William J. Palmer High School has been delayed until the week of Oct. 5.
An assessment determined that the traditional high schools would not have sufficient ventilation to allow for in-person learning to begin next week.
The district said its doing everything possible to get these systems fixed properly.
The Roy J. Wasson academic campus will resume in-person learning next week.
