COLORADO SPRINGS — The new president of the University of Colorado system made his first stop in Colorado Springs.
On Mark Kennedy's first day on the job, he stopped by the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. That's not all, he toured all four campuses. He says that he made the stops to be able to listen and learn from faculty and staff.
"What are the strengths of UCCS that we can leverage as part of the total system," he said. "It's really great in cyber and space and we just saw this mroning, the arts and sports management and sports medicine."
Kennedy also says a key to the future of UCCS is not only attracting bright students, but increasing graduation rates across the system.
