COLORADO SPRINGS — A Sexually Violent Predator is living off East Platte Avenue in Colorado Springs, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Roberto Carlos Vargas-Delao is living at 3007 E. Platte Ave. #303 at the Capri Motel near The Citadel Mall.
He is 29 years old with scars on his left wrist, forehead and stomach area. He is 5'9" and weighs 190 pounds.
Vargas-Delao is on parole and his criminal history provided by the department shows he was convicted of Sexual Assault on a Child in 2014 and Harassment in 2013. Both offenses happened in El Paso County.
He is working in construction at Preformers Drywall.
Under Colorado law, law enforcement agencies are required to notify the community when a SVP moves into the area.
