COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a home invasion involving four to five suspects that left one person injured.
The department said officers arrived to the apartment in the 7500 block of Copper Crest View where they found the victim who was assaulted. Police said the call reported four to five suspects entered the apartment just after midnight Monday and while the victim was being assaulted, the other involved suspects took clothing and items from the home.
Officers said the victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for possible fractures after they "suffered injuries to his head and face."
The suspects have not been identified, but the department is asking anyone with information related to this incident is being asked to contact the department at (719) 444-7000.
