COLORADO SPRINGS — At approximately 4:40 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Dept. reported that a suspicious device was located in the 7600 block of Valhalla Dr.
The Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit (EOD) responded to investigate.
Citizens were advised to avoid the area and Vallhalla Dr. was closed off at Mirage Dr. to through traffic.
Just before 5:30 p.m. CSPD said the device was determined to not be an explosive device and police were clearing the scene.
No further information has been released at this time.
