COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department tracked down a suspect Sunday morning who had multiple domestic violence warrants against him.
CSPD acquired an arrest warrant for 38-year-old Nathan Roddey early Saturday after a domestic violence incident that happened in the 3400 block of Queen Anne Way.
The warrant charged Roddey with felony assault, burglary and protection order violations. During this investigation, CSPD learned that Roddey had other warrants against him.
Officers, along with K-9 units, searched the area of Queen Anne Way but did not find him.
Early Sunday morning, officers said Roddey was identified as the suspect in domestic violence-related crimes both at the Queen Anne Way residence and at another location in the 400 block of Rockrimmon Blvd. Roddey was a primary suspect in multiple investigations.
CSPD received information Sunday morning that Roddey was back in the Queen Anne Way area.
Officers were able to find him in an apartment complex parking lot near Van Teylingen Drive and Rebecca Lane and arrest him on his outstanding warrants.
