COLORADO SPRINGS — Election training was held by the Secretary of State's Office in Colorado Springs Wednesday.

County election officials were challenged with scenarios and situations that could threaten the upcoming election.

Officials said it's important to be prepared for anything.

These attacks are not only on our election infrastructure. It's not only to try to undermine the elections themselves, it's to try and undermine people's faith in our elections," Secretary of State, Jenna Griswold said.

The Secretary of State said Colorado is one of the safest states to cast a vote.
