COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs Police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for two robberies that happened early Saturday morning.
According to authorities, around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, a male suspect entered the Courtyard by Marriott in the 2500 block of Tenderfoot Hill Street and held up an employee at gunpoint. The suspect demanded money and pistol whipped the victim in the head and then fled with an unknown amount of money.
A short time later, around 2:20 a.m. a suspect, who matched the description of the previous robbery, entered the Holiday Inn Express on North Spruce Street and held up two employees at gunpoint. He demanded money and pistol whipped both victims in their faces and heads. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
