COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs police are investigating a stabbing that left one person in critical condition.
Officers received a report of a stabbing in the 1100 block of South Nevada Avenue around 4 a.m. Saturday morning.
When they arrived on scene, officers found a man with multiple stab wounds. Their investigation shows the victim met with two individuals in the area and a disturbance ensued.
One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and then stabbed him multiple times. The victim is expected to survive.
The suspects fled the scene on foot.
CSPD's Violent Crime Detectives are assisting with the investigation.
