COLORADO SPRINGS — Residents in the Briargate area were notified early Tuesday morning of police activity related to a barricaded suspect, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
The department posted a notification just before 3 a.m. that residents in the area of 2400 Linenhall Court are asked to stay indoors and away from windows.
Due to the police activity, nearby residents were asked to shelter-in-place. Around 6:20 a.m., the department lifted the shelter in place. The situation surrounding the incident is still unknown and we are working to learn more from police.
