COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Parks Department has received a grant from the prestigious National Endowment for the Arts.

The department plans to use $40,000 of the grant to create a public art installation in Panorama Park, which is located in southeast Colorado Springs.

The next step is a collaboration between local artists and residents who live near the park to decide on the type of art project they want to install.
