Colorado Springs man found guilty in string of burglaries

COLORADO SPRINGS — A man arrested for a string of burglaries across Colorado Springs was found guilty on 31 counts Tuesday, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

CSPD said Francisco Navarro-Vargas would break into apartments through the back sliding door.

Navarro-Vargas worked as a maintenance technician at one of the complexes.

He was found guilty on 31 counts from second-degree Burglary, Identity Theft, False Information to a Pawn Broker and Theft.

CSPD said his sentencing if scheduled for February next year.
