Colorado Springs businesses team up to feed first responders and veterans

COLORADO SPRINGS — Saturday, several Colorado Springs businesses provided a special lunch to feed first responders and veterans.

Neutral Zone teamed up with Raven Retro Games and Level Up Coffee to provide free meals.

Organizers said it's just one way to serve others.

"As retired military, I just think it's important that we don't forget our roots, that we remember where we came from, and we continue to support those who continue to serve," Sherry Ferrinan said.

The meals served Saturday were free, but Neutral Zone said it always appreciates doantion so they can continue to offer services for veterans and first responders.
