COLORADO SPRINGS — Community members have the opportunity to chime in on the master and management plan for Austin Bluffs Open Space.
The public meeting is scheduled for Thursday and marks the third public meeting discussing the plan.
Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services department said the open space includes the properties of Pulpit Rock Regional Park, University Park Open Space and Austin Bluffs Open Space. All of these spaces make up 600 acres.
The master plan is set to help "develop a guiding document for the next 10-15 years for the sustainable development of recreational opportunities."
Past public meetings saw input on proposed trails and parking concepts for the project.
The department will continue planning for the rest of the year.
Thursday's public meeting will take place at Grant Elementary School from 6 to 8 p.m.
