PUEBLO — Despite strong storms producing heavy rain the past few days, farmers on the Mesa in Pueblo County say their crops haven't been impacted.

The extra water from heavy rain has made things real muddy, but they are hoping for more warm and sunny days so their chile, corn and pumpkins can grow on time.

As for the chile, Musso Farms says you can expect to see them harvested and roasted within the next ten days.

As we told you on Monday, it was a different story in Rocky Ford when 45 acres of melon crop was damaged by heavy rain and hail.
