COLORADO SPRINGS — Sunday, hundreds of people headed to Back East Bar and Grill in the Briargate area for the annual Saint Baldricks fundraising event.
The charity head shaving event raised $26,000 Sunday to help fund childhood cancer research.
"There's not enough awareness for childhood cancer, and just cancer in general. People just really need to get with it and all get together and find some sort of cure," participant Dave Ritts said.
If you missed out on the event Sunday, there is another one schedule for next Sunday. This event will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Grace and Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church in Colorado Springs.
