The three-day search conducted at a residence on County Road 105 on the east side of Salida concluded Sunday. Investigators with the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office, CBI and FBI went to the site to follow-up on leads developed during the course of the Suzanne Morphew missing person case.

The Chaffee County Sheriff's Office said investigators searched several locations on the property but were unable to make any connection to Suzanne Morphew’s case. Details about the search are not available as it is part of an active investigation.

The property owner was fully cooperative with law enforcement and not connected with the disappearance of Morphew, the Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies with the Chaffee County Sheriff's Office and agents from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation searched a residential property east of Salida Friday as part of their investigation into the disappearance of Suzanne Morphew. The missing 49 year old was last seen going on a bike ride near her home on Mothers Day. While the search has concluded for the day, CBI spokesperson Susan Media said in a news release that it will resume again on Saturday.

A new home is under construction on the property along County Road 105 where the search is taking place. Medina said the owner is fully cooperative with law enforcement and is not connected to Morphew's disappearance.

"In response to widespread rumors, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office relays that Ms. Morphew has not been located and there have been no arrests in the investigation," Media said in the release.

A previous search last weekend near the town of Maysville was unsuccessful. Anyone with information that could help locate Morphew is asked to contact the Chaffee County Sheriff's Office tip line at 719-312-7530.

Members of the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are continuing to search for a Maysville-area woman who went missing on Mother's Day.

A residential property on the east side of Salida is being searching by authorities Friday, according to CBI. CBI also said the owner is not connected to the disappearance of 49-year-old Suzanne Morphew.

Morphew was reported missing by a neighbor on May 10 when she went for a bike ride and never returned. Law enforcement spent Wednesday reviewing and following up on tips submitted about her disappearance.

The sheriff's office recently asked Chaffee County residents to preserve any video footage they may have from devices such as Ring doorbells, security cameras, game cameras, etc., from May 8 through May 12.

Citizens are only being asked to preserve the video at this time. The sheriff's office asks that no one sends these video to them. As search areas are identified, investigators will contact residents in those locations to collect any camera footage.

Anyone with information about Morphew’s whereabouts is asked to call the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office at 719-539-2596 or Chaffee County Crime Stoppers at 719-539-2599, or the new tip line at 719-312-7530.
