BACA COUNTY — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is leading an investigation regarding an officer-involved shooting in Baca County Wednesday evening.
According to the CBI, the Baca County Sheriff's Office encountered an armed suspect near County Road 20 and County Road PP after 5:30 p.m.
The man was shot and later died, according to the bureau. No deputies were injured in the incident.
