COLORADO SPRINGS — Three area veterans can get around in style now thanks to the 7th Annual Progressive Insurance Keys to Progress event.
With the help of several local businesses and collision centers, refurbished cars were presented to the veterans, changing lives and providing hope.
"A lot...from appointments for my kids to actually maybe for a better job, just everything," said Army veteran Johanna Stabler, one of this year's recipients.
Nationwide, the program has provided cars to more than 600 veterans since 2013.
Those interested in applying for the program next year need to apply through a non-profit.
