COLORADO SPRINGS — People all over volunteered their time Monday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's legacy to serve others.
Care and Share Food Bank hosted 60 volunteers at the food bank.
Volunteers helped sort and pack boxes to be distributed to partnering food pantries across southern Colorado.
Volunteers aid it means a lot to be able to serve others and give back to the community.
"Everybody just comes so willingly, there's not one time that anybody doesn't want to come. We just want to help," one volunteer said.
