Bullet narrowly misses passenger after shooting off I-25

COLORADO SPRINGS — On Tuesday at approximately 7 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department reported a passenger window was shot out nearly hitting the passenger as the vehicle traveled northbound on I-25 from South Nevada Avenue.

The driver of the suspected vehicle had stopped a short distance after entering Colorado Springs while waiting for officers. The suspect is said to have been driving a gray pick-up truck that fled the scene at Bijou exit.
