COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs Police shut down all lanes of Garden of the Gods Rd Monday night after an auto/pedestrian crash.
The accident and subsequent road closure happened just west of I-25.
Police said a person on a bike was struck by a small SUV near Chestnutt St. The person on the bike was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police said the road will be closed for several hours.
