PENROSE — Saturday, a special Christmas event was held in Penrose.
Residents gathered there trusted four-legged companions for the annual "Christmas Ride."
Riders on horseback and in horse-drawn carriages spent the day picking up donations for Toys for Tots.
Some riders showed of their ugly Christmas sweaters and even some of the horses got dressed up for the event.
