High schools have until Monday morning to decide on fall or spring football season

After announcing Wednesday night that high school football will happen in the fall in Colorado, the Colorado High School Activities Association announced some new updates to the season Thursday afternoon. According to a release, it is up to each specific school to decide whether they will play in Season A (fall) or Season C (spring) and they can only play in one season. Schools have until today at 8 a.m. to make their decisions.

Trump says he will announce a nominee for the Supreme Court on 'Friday or Saturday'

President Donald Trump said in an interview on Monday that he would likely announce his replacement for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's seat on "Friday or Saturday." Trump said in an interview that he would wait until funeral services for Ginsburg on "Thursday or Friday" were held before announcing his nomination. Trump also said he's considering "four or five," judges for nomination. He's already said he would nominate a woman and was asked specifically about Justice Barbara Lagoa, a U.S. Circuit Judge.

Feeling like summer for the first week of fall

It is the last day of summer and it will feel that way today. There is a slight chance of rain showers in the mountains today, but they will not make it east of the foothills. A better chance of rain in the mountains and I-25 corridor will be on Tuesday, with isolated to spotty activity in the afternoon. Other than that the week will be warm and dry.
