COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs police are investigating an accident involving a stolen vehicle that left four people injured.

Around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 7 officers were notified of a crash near the intersection of Hancock Expressway and Astrozon Blvd. involving two vehicles. When officers arrived on scene, they found a red Subaru Impreza and a silver Kia Soul were involved in the crash.

According to police, the driver of the red Subaru Impreza was traveling westbound on Hancock Expressway when it lost control and crossed into the eastbound lanes of traffic and was then struck by the driver of the Kia Soul.

The woman who was driving the Impreza, which police say was stolen, fled the scene in a blue sedan northbound on Astrozon Blvd.

The four people in the Kia were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries, which police say are considered serious.
