LAS ANIMAS COUNTY – Lots of volunteers showed up at the Las Animas County Fairgrounds in Trinidad this weekend to give the playground a major overhaul.
The county received a grant from “Kaboom” and the Colorado Health Foundation to build an adventure park.
The park features obstacle similar to those on “American Ninja Warrior.” The county also added several other new pieces to the park, including soccer goals and benches.
The grant funded the entire cost of the new playground and donations will fund its upkeep.
