Trinidad credit union robbed twice in April

TRINIDAD — Trinidad Police are investigating a pair of robberies that happened within 10 days at the same credit union in town.

Police say the first incident happened April 18th at 1:02 p.m. at the Power Credit Union where they say a man went into the bank, demanded money which was handed over by the teller. The suspect left the area on foot.

The second incident was reported to police April 29th at 4:30 p.m. under similar circumstances. Police say the suspect was also a man who went inside the bank, demanded money and then immediately left the area.

Right now police say they are unsure if the two crimes are connected, but the investigation is active.
