TRINIDAD – The Trinidad School District confirmed to News5 that all students and staff are safe after concerned community members noticed a police presence at Trinidad High School.
The district said police, firefighters and EMTs were at the school for a crash-simulation event happening ahead of prom this weekend.
The event was only a drill, and there is no danger to students and staff at the building.
